This Bogotá morning gravel classic is a short but challenging route with a couple of brutal climbs that you may have to walk parts of, especially if it’s been raining, and a crazy-steep decent (make sure your brake pads are good, seriously!). What makes it worth it is the total solitude of the verdant high mountain, just a few kilometres from the noise and urban energy of Bogotá, and the occasional views of the city as you wind your way down from the top of the climb.
