El Treinta y Seis (Tunjaque)

Tunjaque is one of the highest peaks in the region and its distinctive serrated ridge is visible for miles around. This loop takes you on a well maintained gravel road through the interestingly named village of El Treinta y Seis, to the base of Tunjaque’s impressive cliffs, and then loops back through Jerusalén. It is possible to climb Tunjaque, but you’ll need to hike your bike up the last few intense kilometres. There are lots of viewpoints and shops along the way, and a multitude of optional paths you can take, ranging from a little harder to positively insane!
