I am a South African/British gravel and road cyclist who’s been living in Bogotá since 1999. I‘ve been riding bikes for as long as I can remember, around Table Mountain as a child, on the fens of East Anglia as a teenager and in the Colombian mountains as an adult. I love riding alone and with friends, on the flat and in the mountains, in the dry and in the wet, on dirt and on tarmac, whenever and wherever I can.

I have a passion for sharing experiences that encourage people to ride more, especially off the beaten track. I was a cycling ambassador for ProColombia and have written adventure cycling articles about tracing routes through places that were largely inaccessible during Colombia’s troubled decades. When I’m not cycling I’m a copywriter, translator and podcaster.

This site aims to give independent adventure cyclists interested in cycling in Colombia open access to information that can be hard to find elsewhere. If you’re a rider with a cool route that you’d like to showcase on the site, or if you want advice on planning your trip to Colombia, please get in touch.
